Welcome to Miami is live today. Twist Gaming's new release is a 5x4 grid, high volatility, a 20,000x ceiling — and a payout mechanic the studio invented, that nothing else on the shelf plays like.

The look

The art leans all the way into the GTA era. Pastel skyline, palm trees, neon signage (look closely at the hotel), and a synth soundtrack that would sit comfortably on a Vice City radio station. The cast is a proper rogues' gallery — the Moustache Guy and his gold minigun, the Masked Man with a shotgun, the Red Bandana Dude, the Blue Bandana Guy — backed by a line-up of blue-toned cops who fill out the low end of the paytable. Several of the characters are voiced by well-known personalities, including Kick streamer Samulx.

Weapons pay, not paylines

There are no paylines and no ways. Every character on the board is an enemy with a bounty on their head: from 0.01x for a blue figure up to 5x for the Blue Bandana Guy, 10x for the Red Bandana Dude, 15x for the Masked Man, 20x for the Moustache Guy, 30x for the Helicopter and 50x for the Tank. Under the reels sits a seventh reel — the weapon reel. Land a weapon and it opens fire on the board with its own targeting pattern. Every enemy it takes down pays its bounty, and the spin pays the combined total.

The arsenal scales in damage. Pistols fire up to three shots at random symbols; the Rifle up to five. The Sniper is the smart weapon — up to four high-damage shots that go for the special symbols first. The Detonator sets off every Bomb on the board, each one clearing its full row and column. And the RPG destroys everything on screen. It's the only weapon that can take down the Max symbol, which is how the 20,000x gets paid.

Around the weapons sit the symbols that turn a good spin into a big one: Bombs, Multipliers from 2x to 100x applied to the win when destroyed, Ammo that instantly respins the weapon reel, and Health Packs — which start to matter once the free spins begin.

Free spins that fight back

Three, four or five Bonus cars trigger free spins with five, seven or ten bars of health. There's no fixed spin count. At the end of every spin, each enemy left standing shoots back and takes a bar off you, and the feature ends when your health runs out. Survive longer, get paid more.

Destroying enemies raises your Wanted Star level, from one to five, and each star reshapes the game. At two stars the empty slots leave the weapon reel. At three the Pistols go and stronger enemies show up. At four the Rifles go and Helicopters start landing. At five the RPG shows up more often and Tanks roll onto the board. The feature gets tenser and richer the longer you last.

Five ways to buy in

Bonus buy is a menu, not a single button. Trigger Boost (3x per spin) guarantees a Bonus symbol on every base spin. RPG Boost (100x per spin) makes the RPG the only weapon in the reel. Max Win Boost (1,000x) is the direct shot at the top prize — land the Max symbol and the RPG together to claim it. Miami Bonus (300x) drops straight into the free spins, and Super Miami Bonus (600x) starts them at two Wanted Stars.

The numbers

RTP 96.70%. High volatility. Max win 20,000x. Bets from 0.10 to 1,000.00 per spin. 5 reels, 4 rows, weapon pays.
